My portfolio includes projects I have worked on as a web designer, systems analyst, and web developer. Since much of my professional work is not available for presentation due to company confidentiality restrictions, some of the work included here was completed as part of my studies in web design & development and technical writing.

WCE Online Help

As part of a project to create an online help system for the WCE application at FIS, and in conjunction with a technical writing class at Washtenaw Community College, I develped an online help system for WCE using RoboHelp. This help system was based on the Bank-level User Guide for the Cash Express application.

GardenScope

This app was developed for the UI/UX Design certification course offered by California Institute of Arts on Coursera. The project was to develop a design for a smartphone app that focuses on a simple task, with a digital microscope given as an option. The goal was to contain the main functionality and user activity within one or two screens.

WCCEA Website

The Board of this group wanted a way to connect and communicate with their membership, and their current website was not providing this.

M-NIMBS Website re-design

M–NIMBS was formed from the Center for Biologic Nanotechnology at the University of Michigan in April 2005 to bring together a large group of interdisciplinary researchers. It was determined that they needed a new presence on the web to match their new identity and I was hired to create the new site.

In 2007 the updating and maintenance of this site was taken in–house. Since then, the appearance and organization of the site has changed several times. The website presented here is an updated version of the site that went live in 2006.

Server Dashboard

The design for the dashboard was based on a server management tool used by the Cash Express group at FIS. The application is intended to be used by system administrators overseeing a large number of servers (15 are depicted in this project).

User Experience Deliverables
